The Adoption Process

For those who can't garden,
or lack garden space
Adopt a newt in a tender embrace
We sow it, we name it, we nurture with care,
And send little updates to show it's still there.

So choose one, adopt one — it’s joy in a pot,
A life with big dreams (and a bright sunny spot).

    Native Newts

Hi, I’m Flea plant-matcher, seed-whisperer, animal warrior & newt-mother.

Leaving something to grow in someone else’s hands takes trust. Whether it’s a seedling, a flower, or a furry companion (I’ve spent years caring for both pets and plants), I believe what we grow with love grows best.

Mai-Newt began with buying a few seeds then a few more, tending to their needs daily and feeling a sense of pride. I realised how planting something small and caring for it every day — even when life was messy, even when the world felt too fast...seemed to slow time, allow me to breathe.

And then....when a seed finally emerges through the soil, it’s amazing to see that the same seed types have little differences, like a 6 month old baby suddenly showing his/her little personality; a newt — waiting, growing, leaning toward the light.

Now, I help others meet their own newts. Whether it’s a medicinal herb to calm your nervous system, a flowering friend for your windowsill, or a cactus with quiet resilience, each one comes with care, story, and a place in your world.

Sharing all of that is a privilege we should never take for granted.

My homemade turmeric latte blend, Sun Drop, is yours free when you subscribe — a little golden welcome to the Mai-Newt garden.

Five ingredients... so many benefits. It comes with a little guide & a rhyme to make you smile.
