They're babies of beetroot, of daisies, of thyme,
Each one with a name and a love for good rhyme.
They're fuzzy and leafy, and far from aloof,
And they dream of a garden with sky for a roof.

A little seedling — at that hopeful in-between stage of not-yet and soon. It’s what I call every plant I grow. Some people adopt cats or dogs (as a Vet Nurse this is something I've done since I was 13). At Mai-Newt, you can adopt a leaf.

My Promise

Every Mai-Newt plant is grown with care in my small garden nursery. I learn what each one likes — how it drinks, how it leans, how it rests — and I pass that knowledge on to you.

Because I grow each newt from seed (or cutting), and care for it until it’s ready to thrive in your hands. Some people adopt their newts as tiny sprouts and follow their growth month by month. Others choose full-grown ones, ready to root into their homes. Either way — you’re never just buying a plant. You’re part of its story.
