'Just One More'

Soul Projects...Education with Heart & Soil

So every child can grow along with the class.

When a family is doing it tough, teachers can quietly request one extra Soul Project (Student Kit) per Class Pack—at¿ no charge. No forms. No fuss. No labels.

What's it for...

A student whose family may be under financial stress (including single-parent households).

The aim is dignity and inclusion—the extra kit looks identical to everyone else’s.

PRIVACY & DIGNITY

No separate SKU, no stickers, no “special” packaging.

Every child matters, and children need to feel like they are a part of their class. By labelling one box as 'different', it's just separating that child, showing that there is something different. I won't do that.

The 'Just One More' Soul Project is hand on heart, meaningful to me. It's supposed to say "Just be you.... you matter and you are worth'. Without fanfare, without congratulations, without attention.

I hope it does.

WHY

Because every little life...

has big lessons to share.

I wasn’t always a gardener. My love began when I became pregnant and battling cervical cancer (yes…at the same time) I became aware, firsthand, the fragile miracle of nurturing life.

Everyone warned me of sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, however, not one person warned me of the absolute pure, unconditional, overwhelming love I fell into the first time I held my daughter.

Since the five and a half mark of my pregnancy, I was a single mum. And though financially it was so very hard, my daughter came first. I might not have been able to purchase the latest fashion or toy, or buy her an iphone when she was 7, but damn, that girl was loved.

I understand completely how hard it is to come up with funds outside of a budget to fund exersions, extra curricular activities, extra supplies etc etc.

Being a single mum, I realised that children and plants have a lot in common; they both heal us, teach us patience & respect for life, and remind us of the intricate design woven into creation itself.

Children & plants are teachers—tiny miracles of design and purpose.

This program is more than gardening—it’s a way to weave STEM, creativity, and respect for living things into daily learning. Plants and animals are part of every cycle on Earth, and when children learn to nurture them, they grow something even greater inside themselves.

Mai-Newt is not just about plants. It’s a reminder of the importance of life, taking in the lessons that each life, big or small, offers to each and every one of us.

That includes the child(ren) who's parents can't find the funds, for whatever reason.

Because growing something small.... changes something big!
